Best Goggles on the Market Jul 28, 2010
By Hilltopperpete These goggles are the last pair you'll ever buy. Until you buy another pair. The metallized versions are fantastic outdoors, and there are dozens of color combinations that will meet your style desires. I used the red lenses/black trim for indoor competition-- they're very intimidating, and I have a score of other colors for different places.
They are very easy to adjust, they are the most comfortable goggles you will ever buy if you take 5 minutes to make sure you have adjusted them well to your face, and they never leak once you've gotten them properly adjusted.
I picked a pair up the day the week they were released, and I've used them for high school and college competition, and I still use them for recreational use.

The Best for Lap Swim May 06, 2010

If you are going to be in the water for any amount of time get these goggles. If you are just a casual swimmer you may find these uncomfortable.

Red lenses Dec 14, 2009
By Ricardo Carvalho Theses goggles fit pretty well specially because it's got a soft rubber nose bridge. The downside is the red lenses. If you are going to do indoor swimming I recommend lenses color different than red, they are too dark for indoor pool.

What they say they are Dec 22, 2011
By Orange Curtain These are "swedish" style goggles, they are not for everyone. I was used to wearing Vanquishers and TYR Velocity goggles - both are similar with a double silicone gasket, very soft. Sometimes they leak, most of the time they don't. The first time I tried the Socket Rockets, I was lazy and used the rubber nose bridge (same material as the strap) and found the goggles VERY uncomfortable. Besides the nose bridge stretching (and therefore moving the fit of the goggles) the little excess bits flapped against my nose. A few months later I went to the trouble of using the string/tube setup for the nose bridge. Now I don't use any other goggle. These never leak, they don't fog up if you put spit on them, and I use them 6x/week for at least an hour of practice. If you are a casual swimmer who is all about comfort, these are probably not for you, having said that, I don't find they are uncomfortable at all. If you are more serious about performance, then they are great - that's why you see most competitive swimmers wearing them at the meets. I probably wouldn't wear them for a triathlon swim however - they are "hard" (no padding, just a thin silicone around the edge) and I wouldn't want to get kicked in the face while wearing these. I noticed several people comment on the redness of the view. It doesn't bother me but be sure, they are RED - and they filter colors very differently, but it never seems to bother me. They make the sunrise look cool in the morning.

Best I've ever used Mar 02, 2011
By Joppi_K I've been a fan of Speedo Vanquishers for a few years now, and they've always served me pretty well. But as soon as I tried these, I knew I'd never bother buying another pair of over-priced vanquishers. These fit perfectly so you can barely feel them on your face. I got the Fire color, and it's tinted just enough to still be comfortable while swimming indoors (The lens is SMOKE colored, not AMBER as you might think from the picture). The first time I tried them they leaked, but within a half minute of adjusting the nose piece, they were perfectly sealed and didn't leak at all. The strap is not very durable, however, so I'd recommend buying either backup silicone straps or a bungee strap in case the issued strap snaps or wears down. But all-in-all these goggles are very versatile, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing at the same time. I'd recommend these goggles to anyone, although depending on your facial structure it seems some people have issues with leaking. But I haven't had any such problems.
